The Delta Point was organized in November, 2007 with its fiscal year ending in June. The Delta Point is registered as a nonprofit charity in the State of South Carolina. The Delta Point is an Empowerment Center focused on empowering the community Educationally, Financially, and Physically.

The Delta Point is currently partners with Synnex Information Technology, OneStop and Lifelong of Greenville.
The Delta Point's goal is to curtail illiteracy. The Delta Point's services includes GED preparation program, Desktop application program, Youth programs, Financial Planning program, and Personal Wellness programs. The Delta Point currently has 8 volunteers who have clocked more than 1000 hours this years.
